Michel brings two decades of global leadership across energy, industrials, and entrepreneurship to CERTY. Before co-founding CERTY, he served as Group Chief HR Officer and Group Head of Transformation at EuroChem, one of the world’s largest commodity producers and traders — a $12 billion revenue conglomerate — where he led organizational and strategic transformation across 45 countries and 28,000 employees. He previously co-founded Twistr and helped take it to become Europe’s second-ranked AI-based technology company, winning multiple international awards. An INSEAD MBA and Shell “Potential CEO” alumnus, Michel combines large-enterprise transformation experience with hands-on startup building — the same discipline now driving CERTY’s mission to bring real-time, data-driven credit intelligence to global maritime trade.

Vlad is a technology and finance executive who has spent his career turning complex data into decision-grade intelligence. As CPO and Co-Founder of Twistr, he helped raise $3 million across three funding rounds and secured partnerships with Google before a successful exit. He has also advised leading VC and private-equity funds, including Agartha, AG Invest, and SCM, on due diligence and risk strategy, identifying five unicorn investments along the way. At CERTY, Vlad leads product, applying his background in AI, machine vision, and financial modelling to build the platform’s instant credit-scoring engine for shipowners and operators.

Simon brings over 30 years of commercial leadership at the intersection of trade finance, commodities, shipping, and compliance technology. He spent 13 years building Pole Star Global’s PurpleTRAC into an award-winning maritime sanctions and compliance platform and supported its successful acquisition by private equity. He later led commercial expansion at Windward’s AI-driven maritime intelligence business, contributing to another successful private-equity acquisition. A recognized industry voice on sanctions evasion and maritime risk, including work with RUSI’s Maritime Sanctions Taskforce and GTR, Simon now leads revenue at CERTY, translating the regulatory and commercial drivers behind PurpleTRAC and Windward’s client growth into enterprise adoption of real-time credit-risk intelligence.

Aleksei brings over 25 years of hands-on leadership in shipowning, fleet operations, and commodity trading. He has held director- and board-level roles across forwarding, chartering, and fleet-management companies in Estonia and Russia, including running international trading operations spanning chemicals, oil, gas, and marine bunker supply. That operator-level view of how vessels, fleets, and trading counterparties actually behave — not merely how they report — informs CERTY’s ground-truth approach to shipping risk, helping ensure the platform’s scoring reflects the realities of the industry it serves.

Nour is a software executive and entrepreneur with over 16 years of experience in engineering leadership and platform architecture. He is the founder and CEO of Fusion Second, a software development company delivering scalable web and mobile platforms for international clients across publishing, logistics, and fintech. At CERTY, Nour leads the engineering team building the platform’s AI scoring engine, including the machine-learning and OCR pipelines that transform raw financial and operational data into credit intelligence, compressing an assessment process that once took months into hours.

Tarek is a seasoned technology leader with over 16 years of experience in software development, systems architecture, and engineering leadership. He leads CERTY’s development team, driving the technology behind its credit intelligence platform. His expertise spans microservices architecture, enterprise infrastructure, cloud-native systems, and AI-powered application development. Passionate about building scalable, high-performance solutions, Tarek combines technical excellence with strategic leadership to deliver innovative products that solve complex business challenges.
